Ezra Levant of Sun News TV Plays My Video Clip On National Television
The video I discovered from a mosque in Washington State and published here as well as at NewsReal Blog has finally gotten some national attention from our friends to the north. Ezra Levant is a conservative writer and television host of the great show “The Source” on Sun News TV. I still don’t know how he discovered my video but I’m very glad that he did. Ezra plays the clip toward the end of this segment, but the whole video is definitely worth a watch.

Man Arrested in Washington for Trying to Run Marines Off the Road Tied to Terror Plotters

Looks like another case of Sudden Jihad Syndrome has nabbed Seattle police another terror suspect.

Filing charges Tuesday, prosecutors claim Michael D. McCright swerved at a government-owned sedan carrying the uniformed sergeant and another noncommissioned officer on July 12. The men were uninjured, and were able to report the license plate of McCright’s Geo Metro to the Washington State Patrol.
In charging papers, prosecutors claim McCright – who allegedly goes by the alias Mikhial Jihad – had been in contact with Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif, who, along with another man, is accused of forming a plot to attack the South Seattle military processing station.
“Investigators have confirmed that the cell phone used by the defendant … was used on at least three occasions to contact Abdul-Latif prior to Latif’s arrest by federal authorities,” Senior Deputy Prosecutor Gary Ernsdorff said in court documents. “The FBI is continuing to investigate defendant McCright’s possible connection to domestic terrorism.”
Abdul-Latif, 33, and Los Angeles resident Walli Mujahidh, 32, were arrested weeks before the incident allegedly involving McCright and have since been indicted on terrorism charges.
The men are accused of plotting a suicidal attack on a military induction and processing center – the Military Entrance Processing Station – on East Marginal Way South in Seattle.
Federal prosecutors claim Abdul-Latif, idolizing Osama bin Laden and angered by American military actions in Afghanistan, Iraq and Yemen, and Mujahidh planned to storm the center with automatic rifles and grenades in order to kill recruits and Department of Defense employees working there. The plot was allegedly thwarted in the 11th hour after another Muslim man approached by Abdul-Latif in late May went to Seattle police, then acted as an informant.
I should note that this story from the Seattle PI misspelled his alias, the correct spelling is “Mikhail” although they did better than several other local news outlets I checked that stated his alias as “Michael” Jihad… *sigh*
The suspect also has a MySpace profile that should set off some red flags.

The fact that he started using the name “Mikhail Jihad” when he became Muslim also says quite a lot. Michael McCright is a multiple convicted felon and had served six years behind bars for robbery. This begs the question, did McCright become a convert to Islam while in the federal prison system, and if so is the prison investigating. This is yet another example of the legitimate need for rep. Peter King’s hearings into Islamic extremism in the United States, the latest of which focused on radicalism in the prison systems. It’s not so strange that jihadis and jihadist sympathizers all seem to know each other online, the internet has become a breeding ground for terrorists but it’s also another useful tool for law enforcement.
This story also makes me wonder what the reaction to this latest development will be from the Seattle branch of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). Though they probably don’t have time to respond while they’re busy being offended by the FBI during a “Muslim outreach workshop”. If I had to place a bet I would say … *crickets*
Round up of twitter reactions to the terror attacks in southern Israel
Thursday brought a horrific and highly coordinated terror attack against Israeli civilians in the southern region of Israel near the Egyptian border. A total of 7 people were killed and more than 30 were wounded in the multi-pronged attack along a highway, the terrorists used a combination of guns, suicide vest and a rocket propelled grenade (RPG). The attackers were chased by the IDF into the Sinai Peninsula where three Egyptians were killed in the crossfire.
“An Israeli plane had been chasing militant infiltrators along the border between Taba and Eliat and one Egyptian Central Security officer and two Central Security men were caught in the line of fire,” the army official said.
Needless to say when intelligence pointed to a group based in Gaza that had traveled through the Sinai to carry out the attacks, the retaliation from Israel the next day was swift and precise. Israel kills PRC leadership in Gaza strike.
So not even 24 hours after the vicious attacks against Israel and already the pro-Palestinian, hate Israel first crowd is out and making their opinions heard.

Here are a few interesting excerpts from an article (complete with snarky commentary from yours truly) that appeared on the Shia News english website, Ahlul Bayt News Agency, which discusses a comment from Glenn Beck about the recent terror attacks in Norway and also discussed the danger of “Christian Zionism”. The article starts out:
Gloating over the recent killings in Norway of dozens of innocent people at the hands of an Israel-inspired Christian Zionist terrorist, Glenn Beck, the American right-wing talk show host, compared the victims of the shooting at a Norwegian summer camp to Hitler Youth in his radio program on Monday, according to a Daily Telegraph report.
He didn’t, of course, “gloat” over the killings, I’m shocked that this is how they chose to interpret his statement. Shocked.
Beck, a self-proclaimed Christian Zionist and Israel-firster, described the brutal carnage “as a shooting at a political camp, which sounds a little like the Hitler Youth. I mean who sends their kids to a political camp? Disturbing.”
He stopped short of praising the murderer, suggesting that the victims got what they deserved.

In the past, Beck and his other Christian Zionist fellows lauded and cheered Israeli massacres of Palestinians, including the intentional murder of hundreds of Palestinian and Lebanese civilians in Israeli aerial bombing and artillery bombardment.
I would have liked to see a quote or a link to a quote supporting this charge but one was unfortunately not provided in the article. I’m sure they just forgot.
There is no doubt that Beck’s comments are grave and serious for what they represent and signify. This is no less than a new kind of Nazism raising its ugly head.

Wife of the Seattle Terror Suspect Speaks… We Read Between the Lines
Did you catch the part when the wife of the accused said:
“Daycare center? That’s what they said, did they have proof? Oh, that’s horrible we can’t kill innocent people.”
She specifically used the term “innocent” when referring to the daycare but what some people don’t notice is that this (in her and her husband’s ideology) would not include the current and future military personnel. This is why it’s so easy for a person who does support jihad to claim to “denounce” it, all they have to do is throw in the caveat that they would never support killing “innocent” people. Most people would assume that this meant everyone in the building, this unfortunately is not correct. In this case it really does matter what your definition of innocent is.

The Curious Case of the Changing YouTube Video…
I noticed something today while dealing with the supposed “copyright infringement” on YouTube that took down my video clips from two previous posts. The two-hour “Daawah Workshop” video that I originally downloaded from YouTube that was uploaded by Imam Wassim Fayed has been replaced by a new version of the video.
Now it’s not been edited in the way that you might think, the new video he uploaded is one in which the “hit your wife” quote is still in the video. What he did change is the view, now that’s a pretty strange thing to change, you’re probably saying to yourself, that’s what I thought too and the reason I noticed it. Now let’s go to a couple of screen shots of the videos.

Now this is very strange indeed, why would the Imam need to replace his original video with one that has a smaller more obstructed view? I wonder if it has anything to do with the Sheikh who is sitting off to the side in the video, or the fact that at this exact moment in the video the Sheikh starts to speak in Arabic about “jihad”, since I don’t speak Arabic this and a few other words were the only ones I could recognize.
It’s really starting to seem like this Imam is trying to cover up something maybe to protect someone. Well my interest is piqued! I guess I have a new project to work on… Let’s see, how do you spell the Sheikh’s name again?

This video was taken from a “Da’wah (Proselytizing) Workshop” given by Imam Wassim Fayed, held at the Sammamish Mosque in Washington State and the focus of this ten minute segment is dispelling the “Misconceptions in Islam”. The “misconception” that we are learning about is the completely ridiculous lie that Islam oppresses women. In this video the Imam is explaining to his parishioners that Islam doesn’t oppress women because Allah gives men and women different rights. And then at about the 8:00 minute mark he quotes the Qur’an on how to “discipline” your disobedient wife. If you can’t speak sense to her and after you refuse her your bed (gee, what a punishment) and still she disobeys you, well, then you can hit her. But don’t worry, this is a command from Allah and Allah knoweth best.

to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the
support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret
that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear

I wonder if the local city council, who is currently considering letting this group build onto their property, would like to hear about their flagrant disregard of State and Federal Laws regarding spousal abuse. I’m guessing one call from a CAIR representative about “Islamophobia” in America would squash any potential outrage. I’ll also be expecting a very strong condemnation from the National Organization of Women…. any minute now….
UPDATE: Well that didn’t take very long.
It looks like Imam Wassim Fayed has claimed a “copyright” on the video clips I uploaded to YouTube so they were taken down… Fair enough. It’s probably a good thing that I also transcribed the relevant part of the video so while it would have been nice to get the full context of the video, the point comes across just fine when you read his words…
